Chittenden County

Chittenden County is Vermont’s most populous county. Vermont’s two highest peaks, Mount Mansfield and Camels Huimp, define the county’s eastern edge while the widest part of Lake Champlain laps against its western edge. Surrounded by beauty of these landmarks most county residents feel blessed. Towns include Burlington, Vermont’s queen city: Shelburne, home of Shelburne Farms and the Shelburne Museum; South Burlington, Colchester, Charlotte, Essex and Essex Junction, Williston, Winooksi, Hinesburg, Richmond, Jericho, Milton, Westford, St. George, Underhill, and Bolton.
